Where is TCM available?

TCM is available throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East in five regional versions in nine languages: English, Danish, Dutch, French, Greek, Hebrew, Polish, Spanish and Swedish.

When did it launch?

TCM launched in 1999 in Europe and in 1994 in the USA.

What is Classic Shorts?

TCM’s annual Classic Shorts competition is open to all up and coming UK filmmakers and is known as one of the most valuable and prestigious short film prizes in Europe. Held in conjunction with the London Film Festival, Classic Shorts has discovered some of the best new talent in the country and the 2002 winner ‘About a Girl’ went on to win the BAFTA for best short film. Judges have included Hugh Grant, Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, Ralph Fiennes, Bernardo Bertolucci, Richard Eyre, Barry Norman, Stephen Frears, Mark Herman, Neil Jordan, Iain Softley and Stephen Woolley.
