CARTOON NETWORK EXTENDS ITS HOLIDAY
WITH IHG
Turner Broadcasting has extended its deal with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) to feature Cartoon Network in 63 Holiday Inn hotels throughout the UK, representing nearly half of the brand’s 117 hotels. The agreement, which has been running since 2003, will this year see a 15% increase in distribution over 2007.
In addition to a Cartoon Network channel being shown in over 11,000 rooms, young guests will also receive Cartoon Network merchandise during their stay.
Saadia Bahraoui, Account Director for Turner Broadcasting, says: “We’re delighted to have agreed this Holiday Inn deal for a fifth consecutive year. Guests will be able to view a range of popular Cartoon Network programmes such as Ben 10, Skatoony and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends in their hotel rooms, with younger guests taking away a selection of Cartoon Network goodies.”
