Turner Broadcasting exclusively launched its pre-school channel Cartoonito in May 2007, which originally began its life as a programme block on Cartoon Network Too in September 2006. Cartoonito is the first and only pre-school channel in the UK to facilitate soft learning of a second language with characters speaking English and French in the interstitials between programmes. It is a place where pre-school children can explore their world in a fun and imaginative way.
